Our fall goldenrod honey is a light to medium honey in color and has a slight bite to it. Goldenrod honey is taken off very late in the season when goldenrod is primarily the only plant in bloom. Fall honey does tend to granulate easily. This does not mean the honey has gone bad. All you need to do is heat the container in a hot pot of water to de-crystallize it. Do no heat the water over 100 degrees or all of the natural benefits will start to breakdown. Fall honey is often used by mead makers and bakers because of it's excellent rich flavor.
