The Tulip Poplar trees, which the bees gather nectar from, blooms in the spring and produces darker nectar which makes a stronger taste and also gives the Tulip Poplar Honey is darker color. Tulip Poplar honey is a special treat because Tulip Poplar trees only grown in certain areas so only a few of our bee yards have access to them.
